Raise default nofile limit to fix silent game launch failures
Wine/Proton's winediag channel logs 'Too many open files' when the common Linux default (1024–4096) is hit, which can cause a game to silently fail to launch with no other visible error in Steam's own console. Confirmed via a real Path of Exile 2 launch failure, fully resolved by raising the limit via a PAM limits.d drop-in.
