c-ludenberg d794336975 feat: community standards, AI moderator, SDDM switch, and README fix
so github told me my repo has NO community standards apparently
CODE_OF_CONDUCT? nonexistent. ISSUE_TEMPLATES? nada.
PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE? the void stared back.
and github profiles has a little checklist like im some
kind of degenerate who doesnt know how to run a project.

well NOW i have standards. and they are ROCK SOLID STABLE.
you want systemd? fork from before-systemd-change and figure
it out yourself, i gave you a numbered tutorial right in the
CoC. the AI moderator will read it and then politely but
firmly tell you to go fork yourself (the repo, not literally,
read the CoC).

also threw in the pixie SDDM switch that i apparently never
committed to the netinstall yamls either (kill me), the batch
install main.py cleanup, and fixed the README lying about
why artix.

DEUS VULT and please file your issues in the YAML forms
provided or the AI will judge you

c-ludenberg 9fe5174cc7 feat: add GitHub Pages docs site (Just the Docs), split packagechooser, disable IA upload
- docs/: new 13-page Jekyll site with Just the Docs theme
  - Home, Building, Installer, Packages, CI/CD, Development
  - Desktop Environments (with GNOME joke), Wallpapers, Launcher
  - Overlays, Root Overlay, Live Overlay
- .github/workflows/pages.yml: build & deploy docs from docs/ on
push to master (only when docs/ changes)
- .github/workflows/build.yml: temporarily disable Internet Archive
upload (if: false) until ISO is stable
- live-overlay/settings.conf: add instances section for init + desktop
  packagechooser instances
- live-overlay/modules/packagechooser_init.conf: init system selector
(OpenRC, Runit, S6, Dinit) via netinstall-add method
- live-overlay/modules/packagechooser_desktop.conf: DE selector
(Plasma, Xfce, Cinnamon, MATE, LXQt, i3, Sway, Hyprland + No Desktop)

c-ludenberg d399c24b02 CI: mount tmpfs as step instead of container --tmpfs
--tmpfs with size= in container options may not parse correctly
on GH Actions. Mount tmpfs as a run step for full control.

c-ludenberg e5464914e7 CI: bump tmpfs to 8G, fix artifact paths
rootfs.img ran out of space on default-size tmpfs (3.5G).
The KDE rootfs + squashfs output needs ~5-6G.

Also fix artifact upload and IA upload paths — ISO_POOL defaults
to $WORKSPACE_DIR/iso, not /var/lib/artools/buildiso/iso/.

c-ludenberg 2b4d23fdfb CI: add exec, suid, dev to --tmpfs mount
Docker's --tmpfs defaults to noexec, which prevents all chroot'd
pacman post-transaction hooks from executing (mkinitcpio, sysusers,
etc.). The missing vmlinuz was a symptom — noexec meant the linux
package install hooks couldn't generate the initramfs.

c-ludenberg 0f8eb250e8 CI: add --tmpfs for build directory to fix nested overlayfs in Docker
Docker's default overlayfs driver doesn't support nested overlayfs
upperdirs. A tmpfs at the build location sidesteps the issue.

c-ludenberg 38aea4c370 CI: use our buildiso with --overwrite='*' to resolve calamares branding file conflict
- Stock buildiso from artools passes --overwrite='*' through basestrap
to pacman (basestrap stuffs all remaining args into pacman_args).
Our copy already has this flag; CI was ignoring it.
- Add jack2, noto-fonts-emoji to common.yaml to pre-resolve provider
prompts before they block the build.

c-ludenberg 0d9b3af062 feat: migrate from archiso to artools — are you threatening me in SKECHERS?!
Strip out archiso (airootfs, efiboot, syslinux, mkarchiso, prepare.sh,
Dockerfile, mirrorlist, profiledef.sh, packages.x86_64, reset.sh,
run_before_squashfs.sh) and adopt artools buildiso with full antergos
iso-profiles. Bitch, you NEED therapy.

Are you threatening me?
- 154 files changed, 2804 insertions, 7352 deletions
- buildiso wrapper + iso-profiles/antergos/ (profile.yaml, root-overlay,
  live-overlay) + iso-profiles/common/common.yaml
- pacman.conf.d/iso-x86_64.conf with antergos-pkgs repo first

...Are you THREATENING me in SKECHERS?!
- Calamares offline + online module dirs, antergos-next branding
- componentName must match dir or Branding.cpp goes full T-square
- calamares before calamares-branding-antergos-next so --overwrite='*'
wins correctly. YOU'RE ON YOUR FOURTH WIFE RIGHT NOW-
- calamares-next.desktop in live-overlay (/usr/share + /etc/skel/Desktop)
- netinstall.yaml bundled. No remote deps. Kill that bitch (Cnchi).

What fuckin' college would care if you drew some bullshit picture
about your feelings?
- CI: artixlinux/artixlinux:base container, install artools, buildiso -p
antergos, IA upload with collection=open_source_software. Class is in
session. Maybe I should grow 40 feet! Then you'd REALLY like me!
- IA: mediatype=software keeps us out of Community Texts jail. The
question is; what's this stick gonna do?

It's honestly super humbling, when the trashiest repo you know;
probably coked out of its mind... says the most thoughtful thing
you've done in years.
- README.md rewritten with Artix/OpenRC/KDE badges, build instructions,
migration notes. Nice SpongeBob impression. ...Nice SpongeBob impression.
- AGENTS.md updated (identity ritual, gotchas, commands, repo layout)
- Restore LICENSE, NOTICES, APOLOGY.txt, CHANGELOG.md from git history.
Some files you just don't let die. No matter what, you NEVER use that
  N-word! (...should've said nothing.)
- .gitignore: work/ iso/ out/. Go work at Starbucks with your little apron.

So laugh all you want. Forget about me all you want. But at least
I'll be gorgeous forever. Mother, I'm in the SquashFS now.

c-ludenberg 266ec69576 R.I.P. Cnchi (2012-2026) — Calamares is the big boy installer now
Full removal of Cnchi from the ISO. It was the original Antergos
installer and we tried to keep it alive with a GTK4 port, but the
Python GTK4 bindings were unstable, the maintenance burden was
unsustainable for a solo dev, and Calamares simply does everything
better.

What changed:
  - README: complete rewrite of installer section with eulogy and
'Why Calamares and not Cnchi' explanation
  - packages.x86_64: cnchi removed (calamares stays)
  - run_before_squashfs.sh: removed cnchi memes dir creation, cnchi
desktop file fix, cnchi version comment; changed GTK theme from
Adwaita to Adwaita-dark (fixes white-on-white welcome app)
  - airootfs/.../cnchi.desktop: deleted
  - user-commands-before.bash: updated cnchi references → generic
  - user_commands.bash: updated cnchi reference → generic
  - .gitignore: removed Cnchi/ entry
  - AGENTS.md: cnchi → calamares
  - .github/workflows/build.yml: cnchi → calamares in README gen
  - NOTICES: kept historical Cnchi credit (unchanged)

🕯️ Requiescat in pace, Cnchi. You did your job.
